Eighteen apps,
and no advertising business.
Priv Life is built and operated by PrivLife LLC. It sells software to the people who use it, which is a plain arrangement and an increasingly unusual one. This page is what sits behind that sentence.
Software that holds your
records should not also sell them.
A volunteer squad’s roster holds home addresses, medical certifications and duty histories. A small business’s customer list is its livelihood. A household’s budget is nobody else’s business. The tools that hold all three are usually paid for by somebody other than the person using them, and that changes what the tool is for.
Priv Life takes the other arrangement. You pay for it, so you are the customer. There are no ads, no behavioral profiling and no data sales in any of the nineteen apps, and the privacy policy names what each one stores, who can see it and how you leave.
- One price, not one price per seat$10 a month, $100 a year, or $250 once and never again — the same figure whichever app you are in and however many people are on the roster.
- Free is the product, not a trialEvery app that has people in it is free to a hundred of them, with every feature and no clock. Plenty of organizations never pay a cent. That is the design, not an oversight.
- Your exit never lapsesFull export is open on every tier and is never the thing a bill switches off. Deleting means deleted.
Small, and
saying so.
Support is answered by the person who wrote the software rather than by a queue. That is the honest version of both halves: replies come from somebody who can actually change the thing you are asking about, and there is no overnight shift to hand your question to.
The same goes for the roadmap. Apps arrive when they are finished rather than when a quarter ends, and the ones that exist are listed in full — there is no enterprise tier holding the good parts.
Is Priv Life a big company?
No. It is PrivLife LLC, and it is deliberately small. The trade is fewer people answering the phone against nobody between you and the person who can fix it.
What happens to our records if Priv Life stops?
They come with you. Full export is open in every app on every tier, and it is never gated behind a payment. That is true today and it is the point of building it that way.
How does Priv Life make money?
Subscriptions and one-off purchases from the people who use it. Not advertising, not data, and not a cut of the dues, donations or invoices you collect — those settle in your own Stripe account.
Can I talk to someone before committing?
Yes. Write to support@priv-life.com. It is read by the person who wrote the software.
You are not our product.
Our apps are.
Free to a hundred people, in every app that has people in it.
