Built around the work

From an open shift
to hours on record.

Shift coverage, sign-ups and hours worked, with a station timeclock.

01

Plan for the roles you need

Set up shifts around crew requirements, so a headcount doesn’t hide which roles still need coverage.

02

Keep scheduled and worked hours distinct

See shift sign-ups and assignments, then record clock-in and clock-out times against the work.

03

A timeclock for shared screens

Register a station screen where members use a member ID. Managers can correct entries with an audit record.

How it works

A straightforward way to get started.

  1. Build the schedule

Define shifts and the roles your crew needs to cover.

  2. Let the crew fill it

Members sign up, and managers can assign people to shifts.

  3. Record the time worked

Use the app or station timeclock, then review entries and corrections.

Privacy, in practice

Shared with the people who run the schedule.

Organization administrators and managers can see member records, shifts and hours. Members can see who is signed up for a shift. Other organizations cannot see your organization’s records.

Before you start

A few useful answers.

Questions before you start?

Contact Priv Life to confirm current pricing and the right setup for your organization.

Ask about Shifts
Is the station screen signed in as a member?

No. A manager registers the shared screen as a timeclock, and members use a member ID rather than leaving a personal account signed in.

Can managers correct an hours record?

Yes. Corrections include who made the change and the previous values, so the record can be audited.

Can participation help determine good standing?

The volunteer suite is designed for hours in Shifts to feed good standing in Members. Confirm your organization’s configuration when setting it up.

Where can we confirm pricing?

Contact Priv Life with your organization’s size and the apps you want to use.

Ask your agent · live

Coverage you describe,
not fill in.

Shifts went behind the agent door in October 2026. What it can do, and what it deliberately cannot:

A shift you re-timed stays re-timed

If “Night” already starts at 19:00 here, no document moves it. An agent adds what is missing and tells you plainly what it left alone.

Clocking in is yours, forever

The timeclock is a person at a station saying they are there. No agent key carries it, whatever else it holds — that is a refusal in the API, not a setting.
