Get paid
without the chase.

Draft an estimate or an invoice — lines by hand, or billable hours pulled straight from Time. Send your customer a pay link that needs no account. Cash and checks take one click to record. Card payments into your own Stripe account and automatic overdue reminders are built and in final testing; they switch on with our payments launch.

Built for the follow-through

From estimate to paid,
on one record.

The suite already knows your customers and your hours; Invoice is where they become money.

01

Documents that hold up

Estimates convert to numbered invoices without retyping. A sent document never changes — corrections are credit lines and payments are never deleted, only reversed on the record. Your books read like books.

02

A pay link, not a portal

Customers open one link, see the invoice, and pay by card — no account, no app. Stripe Checkout runs on your own Stripe account: their processing fee, your payout schedule, and not a cent to Priv Life.

03

The boring parts, handled

Recurring schedules drop drafts on their day. Overdue invoices flip status nightly; the automatic customer reminder switches on with our email launch. Expenses sit alongside with receipt photos, and everything exports as CSV for your accountant.

How it works

Draft, send, settle.

  1. Draft it

Pick the customer from CRM, add lines or pull unbilled approved time, set the due date and an optional deposit.

  2. Send the link

Sending freezes the document and gives you the pay link. Text it, email it, put it on the paper copy.

  3. Watch it settle

Cash and checks take a click today; card payments will record themselves through Stripe when payments launch. Paid is paid, on the record.

Privacy, in practice

Your money is
a trade secret.

Invoices, payments and expenses are visible only to the people you've given Invoice access — never to your whole staff list, never outside your business, never mined by us. Card numbers never touch Priv Life at all: the pay button hands off to Stripe Checkout on your own account, and we hear back only that the invoice was paid.

Before you start

A few useful answers.

Questions before you start?

Contact Priv Life to confirm current pricing and whether Invoice fits what you need.

Ask about Invoice
Do my customers need an account?

No. The pay link shows the invoice and takes the payment with no sign-in at all — an account requirement is how invoices go unpaid.

Where does the money go?

When card payments launch: straight to your own Stripe account — Priv Life never holds it and adds no platform fee. You pay Stripe's standard processing on card payments, exactly as if you'd set up Stripe yourself, and cash or check costs nothing.

Can I edit an invoice after sending it?

No — and that's a feature. The customer saw a document; it stays what they saw. Corrections are credit lines on the record, refunds are reversing rows, and a genuinely wrong invoice gets voided, visibly.

Does it do recurring invoices?

Yes — a schedule drops a draft on its day, monthly, weekly, quarterly or yearly. You review and press Send; nothing goes to a customer without a person behind it.

Is this accounting software?

Deliberately not. Invoice tracks what's owed, what's paid, and what you spent — and exports clean CSVs your accountant or QuickBooks can import. Replacing your accountant is not on the roadmap.
